As the newly appointed principal of Quitman County Middle School, I am excited to embark on a new journey at the middle school. Being a product of Quitman County, it is my job to be a beacon of light to our children as they continue to prepare themselves for high school, college, and/or the world of work. My career in education started as a middle school teacher, so I am determined to prepare our children for the next state of life, as now, their principal.
We're ready to do our best and rock these tests! State testing begins soon.
We recently honored Mrs. Frances Griffin during National Social Work Month. She provides much needed one-on-one support and other services to many of our scholars. Thanks for all you do, Mrs. Griffin! #LetsMakeItHappen #CobraNationForever
National School Counseling Week We pause for a moment to shine the spotlight on our amazing school counselor, Mrs. Sonya Hentz-Hill. Mrs. Hill goes above and beyond each and every day for the teachers and scholars here at #CobraNation. From school registration to creating schedules for over 250 scholars, grade verification, progress reports, report cards, student records, state testing, and being a BETA Club sponsor. You name it, she does it. Mrs. Hill also provides confidential emotional support for our scholars, and she's often a listening ear for our staff as well. When you walk out of her office, you are guaranteed to feel a thousand times better! She does all of this plus more while wearing a smile just as bright as the one you see in this photo. Mrs. Hill, we love you, and we truly appreciate all that you do. Not just today, but every day. ❤ #NationalSchoolCounselingWeek #LetsMakeItHappen #CobraNationForever
